Sometimes you find yourself with new ideas not just for kids.
Making nice things is the one thing I like most, so I made many shawl, stoolcovers and other stuf, like above as a present for me:

Pattern release: Tully and Tilly Turtle
For sometime now, I had an idea "swimming" in my mind to design a turtle. The existing patterns were not what I wanted and so this little turtle came to mind.
Tully and his girlfriend Tilly now can swim together and even go skinny-dipping, because they have their own removable shell, like a jacket.
Tully is made in Ice Blue, Grass and Petrol and Tilly in Sand, Ocher and Marigold.
To release a pattern is a real process of "thinking, trying, many times pull yarn and try again", but it is always a beautiful process.
When the project is looking how I wanted it to be, it can make me very happy and enthusiastic.
That's why Tully got his girlfriend and I worked the pattern in NL and US-terms.
I hope crocheting Tully or Tilly gives you as much fun as it did me creating them.
